How much does what happened before really matter? I sometimes catch myself seeing price move up, for example, but looking left I see resistance and support levels, and I feel like it's only temporary, that price will stop and continue back down. So I wait to get in on a sell. I wait, and wait, and wait — but price keeps going up. The context of the previous candles almost forces me to wait for some particular trade setup instead. When I realize I'm probably wrong, the thought creeps in that "well, I've already missed so much of the trend, so it's probably about to reverse or stall now" — and I lose perspective.

How much does context actually matter? How many candles back should I be considering? How much does context matter specifically at the London open or the NY open? I know Al says in the course that at the open, what's happening right at the open is more important. But he also says context is more important than the signal bar. The context has to make sense.

At the London or New York open, do the previous 20-50-100 bars say something, do they give context? How much weight should that carry, and how should I be looking at it? Al says that at the open it's worth looking for patterns like wedges, double bottoms or double tops, reversals, etc. But sometimes these patterns don't seem to fit the context. I'm a bit confused about all this. I'd be very grateful for any guidance for a determined price action student.

I just had the idea of using an AI tool to import photos of my paper written notes about the Video Course and have the AI turn it into digital text, and have the AI analyze, connect ideas, & transform - 500 or so pages of note taking (that i have written word for word as its delivered in Al's talking & as shown on the chart slide notes of AL's course. I want the AI to leave the data unchanged in that regard, not adding to or changing the note information into its own words.)  

and turn my notes into a Structured, key concept condensed, systemized procedure Structured neural network. Needing an AI or application adequately capable of reading these notes for

• similarity detection,
• concept clustering,
• extracting procedures per concept
• Deep semantic linking, (What ideas are related)
• Pathway based reasoning & linking (cause-and-effect or sequence-based connections)
• etc.

since listening to Ali Alfsharis imperative advice to traders to be systematic in their note taking and trading because it's the logical path to proficient understanding that will eventually grow to achieve the mental database necessary for discretionary trading. I can't code and cannot afford the systems academy currently

everything I listed Ive been doing this to my paper notes with highlighters and just more written note taking, I want to automate this task so i can study the complete neural network of BPA instead of linking everything together myself by hand taking several more years. i started looking into obsidian today, advice or suggestions are humbly appreciated.
