The support forum is built with (1) a Q&A format for common trading queries received from wannabe and experienced traders, and (2) a standard forum for course video topics. How to Trade Price Action and How to Trade Forex Price Action videos are consolidated into common forums.

Calling all Spanish traders. Some of you know we have been talking about adding Spanish subtitles to course videos for some time now. The job has been complicated by a lack of agreement on basic terms, which are really needed before project can go forward.
To hopefully resolve problem I have engaged a professional translator, with finance and trading company experience, to tackle this big job. I have given him the price action glossary and video #01 subtitles for translation.
You can see the subtitles on Video #01 now, and would value feedback. The subtitles are using Latin American Spanish being the most popular dialect worldwide by number of speakers.
Note 1: Video #01 subtitles file updated after translator review of line breaks. Now final and will stay in place.
Note 2: The spreadsheet of terms that we compiled from several BTC Spanish-speaking members was sent to the pro translator for his reference. There were still quite a lot of alternatives available for many terms. Also, as for Portuguese subtitle work findings, it makes good sense to use English terms where a suitable Spanish term is not available - but active traders might have a term to suggest for some??
very good work !! I am looking forward to seeing the next chapters.
greetings, and congratulations.

Thanks Antonio. I will get going on a batch of videos as soon as 'everyone' is happy! Well perhaps nearly everyone. 🙂
If just minor issues I can put subtitles online when ready, and edit as needed - just like the videos.
@jesus-contreras
Given the high translation cost and massive amount of time involved, an extra cost of time of US$50 will be charged for access to Spanish subtitled course videos.
Sample videos and the first section of videos in Price Action Fundamentals will be available to all. Beyond that, the remainder of videos will be put into said new membership area.
Hope that is not bad news for anyone and trust you understand the situation. Can open up access to new area after enough videos have been completed, either all of Price Action Fundamentals, or perhaps a significant part of same (videos #01-#18 for example?).
Hello, I can't say that the only reason for signing up for the course is that the subtitling of the videos into Spanish was announced, but, since my English is practically nil, I would appreciate a faster implementation of the subtitles ... it is slow to learn both subjects by translating the subtitles of the videos in google translate (manual translation, as the audio translation fails a lot).
Regarding the additional cost, despite the fact that the information I saw when its translation was announced did not indicate anything, I have no major drawback, although I believe that the expense will be amortized due to the increase in the target audience.
Regarding the discussion about the terminology, I cannot give an informed opinion, since I do not know the scope of the discrepancies, so I understand that it may even be unnecessary to say that: beyond the literality of the text is the concept, the logic that underlies the words, so in case of discrepancies I would keep the original.
Translations have been posted in two blocks, and I don't really know what procedure will be followed for uploading and accessing new material. I would appreciate any information.
I can't be more than grateful for you sharing the knowledge, thank you
@francisco
I too wish subtitles could proceed faster but it really is a painful and time consuming job. Going as fast as possible and as noted above, next release of subtitles will have to wait until a substantial amount are ready. Do not want to drip feed subtitles.
A brand new course index page will be released for both Portuguese and Spanish subtitles, and that waits for said substantial amount ready. Maybe by end of Video 18, maybe end of Price Action Fundamentals. What would you like to see (other than all ready tomorrow!)? 😀
Tú lo has dicho: ¡Todo! 🤣
Hello good day. When do you plan to upload more translations?
... the craving can me.
😀
>>A brand new course index page will be released for both Portuguese and Spanish subtitles, and that waits for said substantial amount ready...<<
As noted earlier I need to build up a good amount of subtitles before releasing. No good to drip feed from start, but Ok a little later when enough subtitles done. Maybe another 5-6 weeks?
Not a quick job as need new pages for all videos (267) with new links, etc, etc.. Then all the other work to do. 😖

Thanks Richard,
Do not hesitate to contact me if you need any kind of clarification or help with the Spanish translation.
Nice job!
Javi
