The last blue text line here says "If reverses down,exit before stop is hit" But Al doesn't mention this aspect at all. Can you clarify please?
The slide you're talking about, Al is simply suggesting using a wide stop if you can't figure out where to put your stop(in this case perhaps, bottom of bull BO).
What he means by exiting if reverses down before stop is hit is simply, the day is a SPBL day, so very unlikely to suddenly reverse down and take out your stop. If you somehow get a reversal pattern like an MTR, you are to exit before before letting the market hit your stop. If the MTR reversal down fails, you can enter longs again.
If you take the whole of what he said in blue, I think it will make sense. You are probably getting confused as you are reading the above sentence in isolation.
