Hi, I am unable to watch the new videos because the new software that is used. Yes I cleared everything on my browser, the cache, the history the cookies everything you can imagine, yes I even restarted my computer and I did it for both mozilla and chrome. Why did you switch over anyway, were you bored with the old one, wanted something new and exciting. This is just great, I really wanted to watch the videos and learn and now I can't. All that money I spent on this course for literally nothing. Why do people always feel like they have to change something, I think that whole the only constant is change, really gets in peoples heads and then they change something that doesn't need to be changed. Please fix this. There was nothing wrong with the old video software.
Well further to my messages above (the last nearly 3 days ago now) I have had zero response here for test results, and just 2 replies from several emails asking for same. Both email replies report problem gone or occasional issue only.
So, have to assume all is well. The new hosting system has now streamed over 620 GB of video since moving files there. A lot.
I also invited anyone on our weekend report email list to report any trouble (after clearing browser cache). No responses to date.
What do you mean zero response? Are you being willfully blind? I see responses from two different people, one of them being ME. I've just gone through the whole process you outlined again and the videos still DO NOT WORK in Chrome and Brave.

Sorry for overstating case a little. I was really thinking about the last 3 days when I wrote that phrase. It really is a head-scratcher that a very small number of traders have this problem. I may start disabling software (like the Notes and Completion systems) to test if that is the cause but waiting on hosting support for more guidance. I am given the dreaded IT support line of "only you having trouble" which does not help much too. 😣

If e-mailing by the users of BTC(added users equating to added pressure) to the IT team that is looking into the issue would help, I can volunteer to do the same. I am sure, there would be others too who would be glad to help out, if it does actually help.
Hi Abir, the hosting support IT guys have been given this discussion url so hopefully they are making use of it.
Had another idea to follow up quickly, if I email David and others who have serious issues, maybe we could connect (perhaps via Zoom to capture video) for 10-15 minutes and test while I deactivate possible software plugins that may be contributing to problem.
** Had a member email response confirming again that MS Edge browser seems to work fine for all videos (as you Abir noted). Could David and others affected please test that.
One day I may forgive you for asking me to download and use another MS browser. Maybe. 🙂
In the meantime I am forced to admit it does play the videos. Can I please erase this sacrilege from my computer and hope it doesn't need therapy? Oh and I am good for Zoom whenever as long as you don't expect video or audio from me. I am not set up for that. But I use it to watch meetings and respond in text.
both two links play normally at my machine except different level of voice volume.
my machine runs linux debian 11 (newest update) and I have been tried vivaldi, brave, chrome, and chromium. all them works fine on my machine.

Still doesn't work for me. And whoever said most people aren't having this problem only a few, well you have heard the problem from only a few, doesn't mean most aren't having this problem, think about it, most people who have the problem probably don't think it needs to be mentioned they are also having problems, they are probably just waiting for a resolution. What's the point in everyone having problems all posting saying, yup also doesn't work for me, yup me neither, also doesn't work for me, what's the point, don't' think absence of evidence is evidence of absence, in this case (evidence) being most people having this problem. Something to consider, I'm willing to bet most are having this issue and are simply waiting to hear of a resolution. Please fix, I like his stuff it's good, but I can't watch the vids. The ones that do work for me, I believe the bonus are in the old video format, so yeah those work.
Quick update, just noticed the bonus videos have also been updated to new video format, how thoughtful, now those don't work, no surprise.

any one been tried incognito mode of browser ? that's a clean context without any plug-in. perhaps will work
Yes, I never really thought of mentioning this before but I always use incognito mode(or private mode in some cases) like Blythe mentioned above. Always works for me so far. There may be plugins or codes that are blocking the videos. Could also be possible that the firewall on your PC is blocking the streaming link. It just hit me after reading Blythe's comment. Might consider using incognito mode or allowing your browser as exception in your firewall if the first option does not work. Could work maybe.

Have the new host people communicated with you on this in a reasonably timely manner? I'm just the mushroom here but since this is still an issue I'm getting the feeling they are hanging you (and by extension the whole of us) out to dry and maybe this host was a poor choice and we need to look at a new (and BETTER) one.

No response from support for near 4 days now. I was waiting on a response before emailing you to help with some tests. And yes, bad choice it seems so need to move again soon! I have just reviewed an alternative with 4 videos free trial that I can set up quickly for test to see if everything works Ok. I will create a separate page inside membership system with 4 videos to see how it works - or maybe 4 separate pages better to spread test across different urls?
Thanks for your patience David and all. Trust me I will fix asap. The new host I have reviewed was the one I decided against several years ago due to its newness. But now it seems to have grown exponentially and built on top of the Amazon network which is what our old system was. The new system also incorporates Hollywood grade anti-piracy download protection!

Edge user here(InPrivate mode). All the videos work well for me, no issues.

Hey, the new videos actually work. Alright finally. And I'm using Chrome the same browser that wouldn't work before. Non private mode.
For anyone still having problems with videos not playing at all, can you contact me by email if you can spare 15 minutes online together for me to deactivate plugins to perhaps identify culprit. I can send you Zoom link, say 2-3 hours after market open?? Or anytime during Globex session from 3am ET onwards (I am in Hong Kong).
Whatever, it still looks likely we need to move to another platform due to other issues like paused videos not clearing player bar, etc.
