Where can I find the pattern "test of bull sell signal bar" or "test of bear buy signal bar" in the encyclopedia? I did a search but could not find it. Thanks.
I've never posted before so I'm wondering if the lack of response to my post means I've screwed up or something. Thanks.
No, nothing wrong about your question but I think there is no such section in the encyclopedia. Do you have a question in any given chart?
There was a mention of this pattern in a chart last week and I had never heard of it before. I don't usually think of a bull bar being a sell signal or a bear bar being a buy signal so I wanted to find out more about this. I don't remember it coming up in any of the videos either.
Just wondering. Thanks.
Hi Dennis,
if you are talking about test if bad signal bars so a bear test of a weak bull signal bar check out Al's books as it is discussed in detail there. I think it is in the second books (the trading range one).
Why don't you post the chart? Anyway, a bull reversal bar can be a bear bar and a bear reversal bar can be a bull bar but they are weaker and they are usually tested, as Brad said.
in this chart of nifty 50, there was a big gap up and a parabolic wedge. But since we had a bull sell signal bar, does that mean that the reversal will be minor? had there been a bear signal bar instead of bull, would that have made any difference indicating a major reversal? Can someone explain the difference in market behavior when signal bars are bad
