Just wondering.
12 years in here. Anyone can know "the rules" after about 1-2 years but if its just a matter of memorizing and applying "rules" then why do most traders fail? It's the mental game that takes the longest and that most never conquer. Dealing with fear and uncertainty. I started becoming profitable at about 4 1/2 years and as your experience and screen time continue to accumulate you get better and better and trust yourself more and more.
Are you full time/when did you transition to ft trader? What clicked for you?

Approaching my third year now. Still finding my edge, not there yet, but not willing to give up yet either.
I have been learning through Al's material for almost 10 years. I became profitable after around 2 years and then I took break from trading for nearly 5 years. I had to relearn stuff but was back to profitable in about a year or so.
I mainly make a loss when I am impatient and expect it to break through support/resistance when I shouldn't. I have overcome these areas through practice and training but still old habits spoil the trade sometimes.
The rule I adopted was that if I cannot spot trades on historic charts then no way I can be profitable in live environment.
