I entered into a trade on bar 27 with bar 26 being a signal bar. I entered because we had a decent candle at bar 24 and then two strong bull bar prints so I entered after that.
I decided to exit at bar 36 because we were stalling out and I did not want to give back my gains. Right now I am trading with 1 contract size so I could not take partials. If I would have held and I would have been able to exit at the 2x risk at 6,082.
So my question is this: Is it wrong for me to exit there?
I think you did well 🙂
When you enter at above or below a reversal candle, 2x should be your target because you only have 40% probability. For example, if you had entered above 24.
But if you enter after 2-3-4 bull candles, 1x is OK since the probability is better but the risk is bigger.
Cheers!
