Sorry for late reply. Yes, I have now added the Notes feature to the Encyclopedia - and Daily Setups.

AFAIK there is no text tool available for Encyc: but a clumsy way around is to use the pen tool and write using it. I guess it would be not that clumsy if you have a tablet which has a pencil (like the new ipad).
