I subscribed to GROK 4 and have been able to get it to code for Ninja Trader. I first was able to convert Ali's AMA Breakouts code from trade station to Ninjascript. Then I tried describing in detail what I want an indicator to do and it would put out working code!! I'm sure we'll find some limitations but so far this is a game changer.
That's good to know. I tried earlier versions of paid Grok (super Grok) but the earlier versions tended to forget things as the number of code iterations required increased. I'll try the new version. I didn't see Ali's AMA code, where is that?
I've used ChatGPT (with varying measures of success) to do some NinjaScript drawing tools. Question: How much programming experience do you have? Is Grok4 better? I only have *very* basic procedural background from many moons ago, and nothing in the OOP world or beyond. How good is Grok4 with code dummies? Just trying to gaugue if it's worth trying b/c I've used Ninjatrader to do simple indicators, but putting together a drawing tool is way too difficult with my level (lack) of expertise...
I'm a hack at coding but I'm able to make simple price action indicators like shading out micro gaps and pointing out strong follow through. In the past I would have ChatGPT put out non-functional code, then I would have to spend hours trying to figure out how to make it work. So far Grok 4 has been able to do all of it with any modifications.
